AUDRIUS NAUJOKAITIS is a painter, photographer, graphic artist and muralist.
Born in 1961 in Lithuania, he received an MFA in 1986 with honors from Vilnius Academy of Art. He came to the USA in 1992 and to New York City in 1993.
While working in his studio at Artlofts in Long Island City, he was curator at the Anthology Film Archives and correspondent for the Lithuanian monthly magazine of Culture and Art “"Domains of Culture”."
Primarily, he is an artist who has worked in diverse mediums including oil /acrylic paint, mosaic, fresco, glass, woodblock prints, video and photography.
He has worked professionally in an array of decorative techniques such as interior design, mural paintings and mosaic. Since 2003 he lives in Peekskill Art Lofts.
His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Lithuania, Hungary, Russia, Portugal, Holland and Japan and in Honolulu, Baton Rouge, Chicago and New York. His artworks are in numerous collections worldwide including Lithuania State Museum of Art, Lithuania, The Asger Jorn Museum of Art, Denmark, Nesterov State Museum of Art, Bashkiria, Russia, The State Tretyakov Gallery, Russia, Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, USA.
From 2003 he resides in New York's Hudson Valley.
